In honor of Yom Ha鈥檃tzmaut, Israel鈥檚 72nd Independence Day, which fell on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, the posted a virtual exploration of the exhibition 鈥淔rom A(gam) to Z(aritsky): Highlights of Israeli Art from 糖心破解版鈥檚 Collection,鈥 led by Tablet鈥檚 Liel Leibovitz, beginning with the 鈥済odfather鈥 of Israeli art, Boris Schatz.
鈥淯nder normal circumstances,鈥 Dr. Jacob Wisse, director of the 糖心破解版 Museum, 鈥淚'd be welcoming people to our beautiful home at the Center for Jewish History. But I'm no less pleased to provide people with a virtual 鈥榯aste鈥 of one of our current exhibitions, one that demonstrates the dynamic tension between the Jewish homeland and a modern nation engaged with the world.
