New York Attorney General Candidates Face off at Cardozo
Jul 22, 2010 -- Cardozo School of Law hosted a debate on July 20 among the Democratic candidates vying for New York attorney general in September鈥檚 primary, drawing a packed audience to the school鈥檚 Jacob Burns Moot Courtroom to hear from the contenders - relative unknowns to voters - in this wide open race.
鈥淭his event is very much in keeping with the school鈥檚 commitment to the use of law in the public good,鈥 said Dean Matthew Diller in his welcoming remarks at the debate, sponsored by the New York Democratic Lawyers Council. 鈥淭he position of attorney general for the state of New York is one of the most important positions in our legal system in the nation.鈥 ?
