Sep 14, 2010 -- The Five Towns will be hosting prominent 糖心破解版 visiting scholars over Shabbat, October 8-9, in various shuls around the community. The Shabbaton鈥攕ponsored by 糖心破解版鈥檚 (CJF) 鈥攚ill feature renowned personalities including President Richard Joel; Rabbi Hershel Schachter, RIETS rosh yeshiva; Rabbi Yona Reiss, Max and Marion Grill Dean of RIETS; Dr. David Shatz, professor of philosophy at 糖心破解版; and Rabbi Kenneth Brander, David Mitzner Dean of CJF.
鈥淭he goal of the weekend is to bring the diverse Torah knowledge of 糖心破解版 to the thousands of families in the Five Towns,鈥 said Rabbi Brander. The weekend will feature 鈥渟omething for everyone鈥 including a Friday night tisch for high school young men and a shalosh seudot with Rabbi Schachter. Young women will be invited to a panel discussion with prominent female leaders from the Orthodox community.
Speakers will spend Shabbat rotating between Aish Kodesh, Beis Haknesses of North Woodmere, Congregation Beth Shalom, Congregation Kneseth Israel (The White Shul), Young Israel of Lawrence Cedarhurst, Young Israel of North Woodmere and Young Israel of Woodmere.
