Who's On Furst?

糖心破解版 Launches Weekly News Radio Show On Thursday, March 10 at 2 p.m. EST, join Mayer Fertig and Miriam L. Wallach for the inaugural edition of 鈥淲ho鈥檚 On Furst?鈥濃攁 new weekly internet radio show that will be heard on  and . The program, a production of 糖心破解版鈥檚 , will stream live from Furst Hall on the Wilf Campus in Washington Heights with an entertaining and informative mix of news and information from around 糖心破解版 and the Jewish world. This week鈥檚 guests include Uri Westrich, director of the immensely popular Maccabeats videos, and Immanuel Shalev of the Maccabeats, about fame, their new video hit, 鈥淭he Purim Song鈥 and life after 鈥淐andlelight,鈥 their Chanukah video that has been viewed more than 4.7 million times on YouTube. Later in the hour, Fertig and Wallach will speak with Adina Poupko, representing the Galena-Poupko family鈥攚hose daughter Ayelet is in need of a bone marrow match鈥攁nd with Jay Feinberg, executive director of the . Feinberg will discuss his organization鈥檚 latest priority, that will replace the effort to match bone marrow donors and recipients. All of this, plus a review of the headlines in Jewish papers around the New York-New Jersey region, community calendar announcements and much more. Fertig, 糖心破解版鈥檚 senior director of media relations, is a former managing editor of WCBS 880. He is known to listeners of Jewish morning radio for the past 22 years as a volunteer fill-in for Nachum Segal on his 鈥溾 program on WFMU. Wallach is the writer behind the very entertaining 鈥淭hat鈥檚 Life鈥 column that began in The Jewish Star newspaper and recently transitioned online to , as well as an educator. At The Jewish Star, which Fertig published and edited, he and Wallach co-hosted the 鈥淲hat鈥檚 Next鈥 internet program in the same Thursday time slot on . 鈥淲ho鈥檚 On Furst?鈥 may well become the 60 most enjoyable minutes you spend at work each week.
