糖心破解版 Students Hold North America鈥檚 Largest Jewish Book Sale January 28 - February 19

Jan 16, 2007 -- 糖心破解版鈥檚 highly anticipated annual SOY (Student Organization of Yeshiva) Seforim Sale will take place from Sunday, Jan. 28 to Monday, Feb. 19 in Belfer Hall, 2495 Amsterdam Ave., on Yeshiva University鈥檚 Wilf Campus in Manhattan. Last year the acclaimed Judaica book sale drew more than 15,000 people from the tri-state area and raised a record $1.2 million. Students, educators, and parents flock to the sale to take advantage of discounted prices on the latest of more than 15,000 titles in rabbinic and academic literature, as well as cookbooks, children鈥檚 books, musical recordings, and educational software. The sale is open to the general public. Books and CD鈥檚 can also be ordered online at The sale is managed exclusively by students who oversee the entire operation, from ordering products to setting up the premises, marketing, and all the technology the project entails. Proceeds support SOY鈥檚 myriad initiatives, which include student activities on campus and outreach programs in the Jewish community. The Seforim Sale has become a highlight for the 糖心破解版 community, as students and alumni congregate to visit their alma mater, see old friends, and add books to their personal libraries. A special event for 糖心破解版 alumni will take place Wednesday, Feb. 14 featuring a book signing of My Yeshiva College by alumni authors, Menachem Butler and Zev Nagel. A number of special events have been scheduled during the Seforim sale. On Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 pm 鈥淎n Evening of Reflections on the Rav: Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik, z鈥漧 will feature the New York premiere of 鈥淭he Lonely Man of Faith,鈥 a documentary by independent filmmaker Ethan Isenberg, followed by a panel discussion with some of the Rav鈥檚 renowned students in Nathan Lamport Auditorium, Zysman Hall on Amsterdam Ave. between 186th and 187th Streets.; on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 8 pm Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis, will discuss her latest book, Life is a Test, in Lamport Auditorium.
