Over the course of the week, you'll build friendships that last, encounter ideas that challenge and inspire you, and discover what it means to be part of a community shaped by both Torah and the world. Orientation isn't just about learning how to navigate campus; it's the opening chapter in your life as part of the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ family.

Tuesday: Move in and settle into your new home. Meet your Resident Advisors, connect with your floor, and begin finding your place on campus
Wednesday through Friday: Explore everything ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ has to offer, from academic resources and career support to Torah learning, student life, and nights out in New York City. These days will be fun and full of meaningful growth opportunities..
Shabbat: Enjoy a Shabbat like no other on campus at ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ, surrounded by community in a place where this is what Shabbat is meant to feel like.
Sunday: Close out Orientation with new friends at our traditional Welcome Back BBQ, then step into your first week of classes ready to begin.

NYS law requires all students submit an immunization form to the Office of Student Health. The immunization form can be found here and upon completion should be uploaded within your admissions application in the Supplemental Items section at . Please be sure to submit the form before your first day of classes, as the law allows only a short grace period before students who are not compliant can no longer be on campus.
All ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ students taking 6 or more credits are required to have health insurance. As such, you can either waive the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ medical insurance by submitting a waiver demonstrating comparable insurance coverage in NY or purchase the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ insurance plan. The form to waive out or enroll immediately can be found at . Please complete this process as soon as possible. Please reach out to yuship@yu.edu with all health insurance-related questions.
Your ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æCard is used to gain access to all ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ buildings and ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ shuttles, serves as your cafeteria card for on and off campus purchases, and serves as your library card. Please upload a photo of yourself to be used to prepare your ID in advance of your arrival using the following guidelines:
Upload your ID card photo using either the (for women) or the (for men).
You'll be asked for your legal name, your ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ ID number (800XXXXXX), and the school you are enrolled in (Stern College for Women, Sy Syms School of Business, Yeshiva College, or Katz School). When you arrive to campus, you will need to present a driver’s license or other photo identification to retrieve your ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ ID card.
