The ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ Women's Organization (ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æWO) has been an integral part of the University since its inception in 1924. Its founders, Ida Lamport Hurewitz and her fellow leaders, translated their concern for student welfare into action. They tirelessly raised funds to build the first student dormitories and their mission of providing food, clothing and funds for the students' personal welfare has continued until this day.

ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æWO has succeeded in its many endeavors throughout the years due to the generosity of its dedicated donors. Proceeds go toward the ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æWO and Future Builders Torah Chesed Fund, providing scholarships to ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ students, sponsoring stimulating educational Shabbatonim programs for ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ undergraduate students as well as funding chesed programs. President’s Society Torah Chesed Endowment Fund provides stipends for needy students at Stern College for Women, Yeshiva College and Sy Syms School of Business.
